Well, I have the MN700, which works great, when it works. I've upgraded the
firmware, ruled out problems with cables, modem, computer, ethernet card, etc.
The router simply, sometimes, dies, for no reason at all. I can happen
after I wake up, not usually when I'm in the middle of something, but pretty
much after it has been left on for a bit. I need to know if there is any
solution to this problem, anything I can still try, or if this is just a dud
router, which is unfortunate, but it looks nice, and when it works, it works
well.
When it stops working, I attempt to re-set it, no dice, re-set the modem, no
dice, unplug both/plug back in, still nothing. I have to go into the
broadband networking utility and setup the router all over again, then it
works for a while, then out of nowhere stops. There has to be a way to fix
this, I find it hard to believe that this product would even make it out on
the market when it doesn't even perform the simplest function that it is
designed to.
