My MN-700 tends to assign IP address that are outside of the address
range I specify. Currently, I have the DHCP server configured to
assign address between 192.168.2.20 and 192.168.2.70 (Why is the
minimum 50?). Routinely two of my laptops are assigned 192.168.2.4
and 192.168.2.170. When this happens I have no way of accessing local
network resources.
One of the laptops, a Panasonic CF-Y2 experiences this problem when
connecting via the Intel b/g internal adapter, or the internal RealTek
10/100 wired adapter.
My other laptop only has this problem when connecting via a MN-730.
When connected over a cable it is fine.
Any thoughts on how best to fix this issue? I hate going to the
trouble of manually assigning an IP only to have to switch to DHCP
when I leave the house.
Thank You,
Michael
