Go back and take a look at the times you've put in. I thought I had my
daughters blocked last year, until I realized the times weren't in the same
day. 8-) Also, make sure you're using the correct IP numbers for the
machine in question.

Also remember to block port 1-65535 for both TCP & UDP. That will kick
them totally off the Internet.

I don't believe you can filter from 11 pm til say 8 am.
There seems to be a glitch in that you can't input those
times because the MN700 insists that the start time must
be earlier than the end time. 12 am til 8 am works. If
anyone knows a workaround to start filtering at 11 pm,
please let me know!

Pay attention to the days you're doing the filtering. That confused me at
first, too. During the school year, I've got our three daughters blocked
(ports 1-65535) from 9 p.m. to 6 a.m. And it works. 8-)

I see now! I didn't notice there are two 12:00 AM listings.
So it takes two entries to block that time frame.

Number of filters: 4

192.168.2.35 1-65535 UDP Sunday-Thursday 11:00 PM-12:00 AM
192.168.2.35 1-65535 UDP Sunday-Saturday 12:00 AM-7:00 AM
192.168.2.35 1-65535 TCP Sunday-Thursday 11:00 PM-12:00 AM
192.168.2.35 1-65535 TCP Sunday-Saturday 12:00 AM-7:00 AM

I think this'll do it.
Thanks

Sounds about right. Pretty easy to wield power over the children, once we
learn how? 8-)

I guess if you stop and think about it, the way to set it
up makes sense.
Well, between hosts file, restricted zones, parental
controls and now client filtering, I think I've got all the
bases covered. Wish there was a "V-Chip" like on the TV
sets. 8-P
(They'd hate me if I got a keylogger)
Thanks again Chris

Don't forget programs like net nanny and such. They can be really
annoying when doing biology research though.
