MN500 ( wireless part stopped working)

Hi

My router stopped working almost at the end of one year
of use. It still works as a wired router for my other
computers ( 3 of them), but my laptop stopped picking up
the wireless signal, though it picks up all signals from
the neighbourhood wireless signals. I have powered it
on/off several times
but still no wireless part. Anything I should try?
Does microsoft cover hardware failure?

Is the wireless light green on the router? If not, check
that wireless is enabled in the router configuration
screens

Make sure SSID broadcasts are turned on in the router.
The latest firmware only works if broadcasts are on
(known bug). Finally, is the router and wireless card on
same channel and with same SSID?
