MN500 Wireless Base Unit

I had to reformat my computer and now I'm trying to re-
install my base unit, but I'm getting an error regarding
firewall software and/or reset base unit. I see no
software firewall running and I have reset the base unit -
has anyone eles run into this problem?

Don't worry about the software you. If you have gotten to the point
where it asks if you want to install an adapter or basestation the
software is installed and you can cancel the reconfiguration of your router.

There is a firewall software component within Windows XP
that can be activated or deactivated. Off hand I cannot
tell you where exactly to locate that setting. I think it
is in the properties for your network connection. So start
looking there in the control panel.
