This is a part of my security log.

2004/08/24 04:39:42 ** Port Scan ** Port scanning from
80.223.239.169 detected

2004/08/24 04:39:46 ** Port Scan ** Port scanning from
212.127.195.242 detected

2004/08/24 04:39:49 ** Port Scan ** Port scanning from
81.250.123.144 detected

**Is this normal? Or should I Do something about this?
Any help really appreciated.

That's a notation that someone attempted to scan your system, and the
firewall blocked it.

It's normal. I usually can only see two to three hours of stuff like
that in my log.
