I have had the MN-820 kit installed (on my desktop and
laptop) for six months and it has worked perfectly until
now. I tried to download (from the desktop) the latest
critical update for it and it froze. When I restarted
the MS broadband networking utility and checked for
updates, it said there were none, so I assumed the update
was completed. Now, the power light on my base station
has stayed orange for several days now. The manual says
the orange light means it's updating the firmware, but I
can't believe it should take this long. I was going to
just reset the station and reinstall everything from
scratch, but the power light never turns green. So, I
can't tell if I'm successfully resetting it or not. Has
the hardware completely failed, or is there anything else
I should try? Thanks in advance for your help!
