It does work. On the 95 you need to add the MS file and
printer sharing component to the network (check on the
network properties), and then enable sharing on the
component.
In a second step, select the folder you want to share and
set it as shared.
I also set my 95 to use a static address (I don't
remember if it had problems with DHCP or was just to make
it easier to run a server).
Once all is doen on the 95, add the network printer on
the laptop.
