My MN-740 X-Box adapter keeps losing it's connection
after a few days. The only way to get it back is to hit
the reset button on the back of the unit, enable SSID
broadcast, and reconfigure the MN-740 with the 128 Bit
WEP settings. It will then work great for a few days
until it loses it's connection again. I have updated the
adapter to the latest update available and confimed that
the update shows correctly on the version screen.

I have 2 wireless laptops and both connect and stay
connected throughout the house. The MN-740 and MN-700
are only 20 feet away from each other on the other side
of the room so distance and line of site is not a problem.

Any idea as to why this is happening and how to prevent
it?

Have you upgraded the firmware for both the MN740 and MN700?

If not, I'd recommend you get the latest firmware

Goto
http://www.microsoft.com/hardware/br...Downloads.aspx

Select MN700
Download the msbndownload.exe file

It has the updates for both the MN700/740 and any other MS networking
hardware on your network.

Yes I have updated the firmware on both. The dashboard
shows my networks SSID but refuses to connect to it.
Everything is DHCP.
