I was having problems with my XBox Live connection with my
wireless router so i reset it to the factory default
settings, for some reason i thought this could somehow
help my problem, unfortunately I cannot reconfigure it. It
keep coming up with error messages when i try and
connect. . . such as "The network gateway cannot be
reached. Please verify that all the IP addresses match the
ones provided by your ISP. . ." However, i have verified
this and it keeps coming up with the same thing, i try
auto configuration for it and it comes up with another
error message such "Could not detect network server(DHCP
or PPPoE) try the following, reset modem and router,
verify IP addresses match the ones provided by your
ISP..." (or something like all that) NO MATTER WHAT, the
IP is not confirmed and it cannot move on to the next
steps (Resolving DNS, and Connecting XBox Live) Please
help!!! I've spent a good couple of days go over
everything that could possibly be wrong, using WAN IP's
LAN IP's, letting it autoconfigure, reinstalling the
wireless basestation, shuting down the firewalls while
trying to connect!! NOTHING IS WORKING!!!! Someone Please
HELP!!!. . .. . .. Please feel free to email me at
(E-Mail Removed) or (E-Mail Removed) as I will
probably forget to check this forum

Try configuring the security key. I had the same problem
and once I typed in the security key those same errors
you mentioned stopped.
