I have a linksys base station and I bought a microsoft
wireless card for one of my computers on my system. The
card installed and I can see the other files and folders
on all the other computers (2 more) but I cannot connect
to the internet. The other computers work and they are
running windows XP and have a linksys card. This computer
that will not connect to the internet is running Windows
98 with the microsoft adapter mn-730. Any help????? I
have tried everything I know of

Run the following command from the MS-DOS prompt (Start | run | command)
& post the results of the four commands.

ping www.google.com

ping www.homestead.com

ping 216.239.33.101 which is www.google.com

ping 209.157.71.37 which is www.homestead.com

this will give us more information & then we can help you better.
