This adapter is "connected", however
address type: DHCP
IP address: 0.0.0.0
subnet mask: 0.0.0.0
gateway address: 0.0.0.0

I hit renew and get nothing! I am running windows 2000 pro
on this machine. Also, I have and windows xp machine wired
to my linksys router and that works. I triple checked my
router settings they are correct. Please help!
..

have you tried entering a default gateway ip for your
router on this pc? is your signal strength weak(try it up
close?) is dhcp enabled on the linksys can you connect
from a wired computer and ping the linksys? What if you
assign a static ip to the pc and limit the ip scope
(range) on the linksys in dhcp settings so you can assign
some static ip's.
BTW how are you talking to the linksys?

Just some random diagnostic thoughts, hope 1 of them
helps. This keeps me sharp after a 1 year layoff and
counting!!
