My sister is running Panther (osX 10.3) and we heard a mn-
730 was compatible, but now cannot make it work. The
computer cannot seem to see the card at all. any
suggestions?

Read the box. The only supported OS's are Microsoft Operating systems.

So the MN-730 shouldn't stand a chance of working when installed in a
Macintosh.

at your ownb risk see

you should be able to make it work - but for help, you need to post in
Mac forums, since Microsoft does not offer support for this.
