I have a MN 700 as well as MN 730. I have selected file
sharing option during installation. Im not able to access
my files on my other computers when Im using my computer
with the MN 730. On my Microsoft Broadband Utility, the
file sharing is not enabled. How do I correct this problem?

I have uninstalled and reinstalled the network utility
disc and have selected "share files" everytime I install
the software but it still shows file sharing not enabled
for my MN 730.

when I open my Microsoft Broadband Utility, under Network
Devices, I see my other computer but everytime I try to
click and access the files on that computer, it gives me a
Windows Explorer error Computer not available.

Please help and info is greatly appreciated

Hello Waba. I`m not sure, but i will give a try:
1) Try going to "My Computer"
2) "Right Click" on a drive you want to share
3) You will see dialog wich saying "sharing"
4) Enable it, and you Good to Go!
-Tip-
When you accesing the shared files, try to go through
the Workgroup...
My best...

I also have Mn 730 and MN 700 and have a similar
problem. I have internet access from one wired and one
wireless computer on the network. Each can see the
internet but not each other. The MBU sees the other
machine but they do not show up in network places. I
will check my MN700 to verify that file sharing is on.
Both machines have file sharing enabled. Have you tried
to access the MN700 setup without the wizard? You can
directly change the settings.

You won't be able to see another system if it is running its firewall or a
third-party firewall. Check to make sure you're not, and that each system
is part of the same Workgroup that is set up for the base station.
