MN-720 Won't Connect

I have a MN-500 Base station and it is all set up. My iMac can connect to it
via wireless and my PowerMac can connect to it via Ethernet. My Compaq
laptop cannot seem to connect to it. It has a MN-720 card. It sees the
network but when I click connect nothing happens, it does not connect.
