MN 720 WEP & Mac Airport Extreme

My MN720 wireless card works fine with Airport Extreme
Base Station with no security. (MN card is in notebook
running Win2000 pro)
When I turn 128bit security on and enter the HEX key given
by the airport admin program I get the error the password
is not recognised.
All latest patches have been installed.
Can anyone help?
