MN-720 Problem

Help!
I have 3 computers I am trying to connect to a wireless
internet connection. One computer is a desktop running
WIN XP Pro. Another is a desktop running Win XP Home.
Last is a notebook running WIN XP Home. I got the
Microsoft Wireless G Notebook Kit which included a MN-700
Base Station and a MN-720 Notebook adaptor. Along with
that I got two Desktop PCI adaptors both MN-730. I set
everything up and the two desktops are working fine, it's
the notebook that is giving me problems.
The notebook detects a wireless network but claims that
I need a valid WEP to access the network. When I set up
the network I did not set up a WEP. Since it claimed it
needed one (or at least a valid one) I set my network up
so that each comp. connecting to my network needs a WEP.
I changed the settings to my desktops entering the WEP
each time and it worked fine. Once again the notebook
told me the same thing "The WEP you entered is not
Valid ...".
Has anyone else experienced the same problem or
something similar? Any suggestions?

If you have all XP computers, you should use WPA-PSK. See my column
http://www.microsoft.com/WindowsXP/e...man/segnet.asp
starting with Set Up WPA on the MN-700 and Client Computers
