I have my laptop connected to my Toshiba PCX5000 (Cable
Modem, Wired & Wireless Router, Firewall). And I'm using
the MN-720 Wireless Notebook Adapter. I can't configure
my wireless adapter to connect with my Router. I tried my
best configuring but it never establishes a connection
with it. The light is always blinking slowly. I have
gotten it to get solid only 5x and it doesnt stay
connected for long. Anyone can help me?

I'm using XP Home SP2 Windows Firewall
Toshiba PCX5000

That is perfectly normal to see with any PCMCIA network card.

Are you using Windows XP to configure your wireless network card or the BNU?

What wireless network card are you using?

Are the following services enabled & running "SSDP Discovery Service"
"Universal Plug and Play Device Host" & "Wireless Zero Configuration"?

Has your network card been disabled in either the networking or device
manager?

You can't configure the PCX5000 itself from a wireless connection. You
need to turn encryption on. 192.168.100.1 is the management address
(from memory - I had one of these for testing a couple of years ago).

No I disabled SSDP DISCOVERY AND UPnP (Because those
services are not secured to be running). Yes Wireless
Zero Configuration is enabled
