Drat! Can you temporarily disable InoculateIT? I believe that's where the
Realmon error is coming from, and it may be choking on something. The other
thing is these lockups sound familiar, like one of the Internet worms which
have been going around.
However, with other things locking up on you, have you check in Control
Panel/Administrative Tools/Event Viewer and clicked on Application in the
left panel? This reveals events on the computer in the right panel,
including error messages which can by right-clicked. You can select
Properties on those and see a portion of the error message which may lead to
a solution.
You can also trap program crashes and lock-ups with Dr. Watson. He's still
around, just not being called often these days. Take a look in Help and
Support for information on him.
