Right-mouse click on the network icon on the right bottom
of the screen menu. Select Available Networks. The 802.1x
setting is named IEEE 802.1x. The 802.1x setting typically
disconnects the connection after 3mn.
What is the exact message you are getting?
Typically, you want to make sure you are using the same
channel, SSID, and WEP key, key length and key type as the
router. Windows Zeor Configuration should be checked.
Sometimes it is easier to first disable WEP on the router,
setup the card, and then reenable WEP on both the router
and card.
Also, make sure it is a wireless connection problem. Use IE
and go to 192.168.2.1. If this works, then the wireless is
working and the problem is a NetBIOS problem (probably
workgroup related or a software firewall running, such as
Norton or Widnows ICF).
