MN-710 WEP Not Working

I just purchased an MN-710 USB adapter. With WEP enabled on my WAP
(Linksys WAP54G), I can't get the MN-710 to connect to the wireless
network. If I disable WEP on the WAP then the MN-710 is able to connect
with no problems. I've confirmed the WEP key (128-bit) in the MN-710
settings and it is correct. The bridge I use to connect my Xbox to the
wireless LAN (Linksys WGA11B) and my laptop (Cisco 500 series card) both
connect with WEP so I know that WEP works in general, but just not with
this MN-710 adapter. Is there something I'm missing? A known issue (I
didn't find anything in the MS KB)? OS is Windows 2000.

Any help would be appreciated,

Derek

What kind of WEP key are you using on the "Linksys WAP54G"? The
software for the Microsoft wireless NIC's uses a hexadecimal key that
uses 26 characters from 0-9 & a-f.

In case someone else hits this, the problem was that I had inadvertently
changed the "Security" setting on the Linksys access point from "Auto"
to "Shared Key" when I was changing some other stuff. Once I changed it
back to "Auto" the MN-710 was immediately able to associate with the WAP
using 128-bit WEP.
