I have a MN-710 USB that connects fine to my local WPA
network (configured via the Wireless Zero Conf, Linksys
WRT54G). I put my desktop in standby mode, then resume
my computer. The MN-710 cannot connect to the base
station, and when I view and select my network the bubble
help says that the wireless network is unavailable.
However, when I go into network Connections window and
disable/enable I then get a connection (after the enable
alert box briefly says enabled failed, but the bubble
help says it's ok). A MN-730 I previously had did not
exhibit this behavtior (it would just refuse to talk at
random intervals and only a reboot would fix that, so I
went with the USB).
Is this a driver problem? Is my usb nic defective? Is
this a "design flaw"? Should I take it back to Circuit
city and buy a Linksys adapter?
