Yes, multiple USB ports have been tried. I have installed
USB 2 since the original installation of the MN-710.
Things got better for a while but the crashes never ceased.
Today, I reinstalled the MN-710 update once again and am
back on the internet for the moment.
I get blue screens or just freezes. Restarts were nearly
impossible except with the restart button for months until
yesterday, even after the Windows 98SE reformat 3 weeks
ago. The day before yesterday I extended the adapter 10
feet outside, under the roof overhang. The connection
speed is intermittent between 0 and 24 mbps typically.
Thanks for your concern.
