I have a MN-700 router, and access wirelessly through two
PCs.

The desktop is on a different floor than the router and
is at least 75 feet away. The wireless signal is always
excellent.

When I use my Toshiba laptop, the wireless signal fades
in and out, and repeatedly I lose the connection. I
called Toshiba tech service and they claim that it's a
compatibility issue with the MN-700 firmware. I checked
the MS tech service website, and they say that there's no
firmware update available.

Has anyone else had this problem and if so, what did they
do to fix it?
