Can't get WEP key to match. Laptop=Compaq1240 Win98. MS
Broadband Network Setup finds Correct SSID
Signal=Excellent, Security(WEP) or None, and channel
matches.

Tried 64 bit=10 Hexdgit key, 128bit with 26digit key. Even
No security. All return same error, "Wireless Security key
(WEP) not valid for selected network" Even with No
security selected?

Any clue?

You don't happen to have 802.1x authentication enabled, do you?

It's Windows 98 so it shouldn't have that option.

There is a problem with MN700 firmware revision 2.1.2.590.
Try power cycling your MN700 -- you may find it starts
working and then will stop working after a while.

Is this the new firmware? Is there any other fixes to
this ? I'm having the same problem with the MN700. The
server is running Microsoft ME, and the client is running
Windows 98.
