Had some issues configuring the MN-700 to work w/my ADSL connection in
the UK. Have since purchased a SpeedTouch 545 which works brilliantly.
However, I would still like to utilise the wireless functionality of
the MN-700. Thus far, have been unsuccessful using the setup wizard
(selecting the 'Add to network w/existing router' option, but I get
the generic 'There was a problem configurig your base station'). The
odd bit is when I attempt to configure manually (using a browser w/IP
192.168.2.1), it actually brings up the SpeedTouch 545 Management Tool
/ interface. Is there any other way to manually configure the MN-700?

The MN-700 is supported in US and Canada only. You should exchange it
for a brand that is supportable there.

As it turns out, the issue was incompatible network classes
(computers, router - Class A, MN-700 Class C - by default). Once I
temporarily changed the IP for one of the computers (to be
compatible), I was able to access the Base Management Tool (thus
allowing me to change the IP, along w/disabling the Internet
configuration, etc).
