Last week I bought a MN-700 and a wireless network card. I
already had two machines on my LAN but I wanted to add my
roomates machine too. After replacing my LinkSys hub with
the MN-700, I managed to get all the machines connected to
the Internet. I have an old school DSL connection, no
PPPoE crap, and I used to have exceptional ping times
playing video games online. Since I've installed the
router my pings have trippled, even with only one machine
connected. Is there anything I can do to speed up my ping
times?
I've tried setting my game machine to be in a "virtual
DMZ", but no luck.
