I still haven't solved this. But my temporary solution was
to connect *from* the wireless home network to the remote
computer (via VPN), where the remote computer doesn't have
the MN-700. The remote computer is able to access my home
network's files and printers. Again, I can't set up a VPN
server in the wireless network for a remote computer to
connect to, but this "work-around" is fine.
