MN-700 networking but no internet

I'm trying to setup my new MN-700 using the setup wizard.
I intend to use it is as a router for my desktop and a
wireless transmitter for my laptop.

With my Linksys cable modem hooked directly to my desktop
computer ethernet card, all is fine. I installed the MN-
700 software then routed in the MN-700 when told to do
so. When the wizard gets to the part of checking for an
internet connection, it says no connection exists.

What gives?

I'm using WIN98SE. Does my computer name matter? My
Windows login differs from my computer's name. Also, my
internet provider only verifies the MAC address for the
cable modem. Do I need to change the MAC address on the
MN-700 (does it even have one?!)

The MN-700 is a self-contained computer; the 98 is just for
configuration (actually any computer with IE will do).

You need to clone the MAC address from the Linksys into the
MN-700. Go to the Linksys and find it's public MAC address
(or ask the ISP which MAC they have for your connection).
Go to the MN-700 WAN screen and clone it (enter it in the
box and press the Clone button).

All the rest seems perfect ^_^
