It is a networking device and it just do its job and
provide me the DHCP service it is designed for and
nothing more, it shouldn't care at all about the tools
and their versions I am using with its internet
connection.
Are you saying it works with some of the available
internet tools and special versions and it doesn't work
with others? Then I have throw this device out of the
window right away and tell everybody I know that it is
not worth a single dollar.
If I use the modem directly connected to my PC the
connection works for weeks with the same PTP file sharing
tool(s) I am running, so I do not understand why the tool
should make any difference to the device. If you just
need advice for testing, just take any PTP file sharing
tool into account that you've ever heard of for testing.
Let me and this newsgroup know what tools work with the
MN-700 and what tools don't and print this on the box you
ship the device with, so that other customers don't spend
so much time with the device like I did.
