MN-700 Internet Trouble

Hello,

I'm installing the MN-700 Base Station, and everything
works fine. That is, except the internet. The setup
wizard keeps saying it cannot detect the internet. I
have an SBC DSL modem running PPPoE. The base station
and modem are connected, and the base station is
connected to the computer. In my Network Connections I
have under Broadband; DSL Connection, WAN Miniport
(PPPoE). Any ideas as to what the problem is?

The one common error with SBC/Yahoo and PPPoE is listed in this Microsoft
Knowledge Base article,

If the connection is PPPoE, you must type your user name in the form user
(E-Mail Removed) or user (E-Mail Removed).

Also, make sure you've upgraded the firmware on the MN-700. The original
firmware had PPPoE problems galore.
