MN-700 gets it up but can't keep it up

My new MN-700 base station is connected via ethernet to a
Windows XP box, and a second XP box is also connected to
the BS. I can get my PPPoE connection up and running, and
share files and printers, but only for about 10 minutes.
Then, the BS seems to 'go away'. I lose the internet
connection, lose the workgroup connection, plus I can't
access the management tool (browser times out). Powering
the BS down and back up fixes it....for another 10
minutes.

Any help, before I take this back for a refund?

john

Hi...I had the same problem. You have to upgrade the
firmware of the router.Try here:
http://www.microsoft.com/hardware/br...etworking/15_D
ownloads.aspx
Select mn700 from dropdown box and manually download the
file. Must be done wired..not wirelessly.
Hope this helps.

Sorry...also:
You might want to bypass the mn700 and go directly to
your modem to get the file.
Good luck.
