For all those suffering this issue, I just completed a tech
call with Micro$oft and have to admit, they were very
efficient. We reset modem settings last night and when I
noticed I was offline again this morning, I called them
back and provided my case number. The tech did a little
bit of troubleshooting and then let me know my modem was
likely faulty and needed to be replaced. Since the MN-700
is no longer produced, I am getting a refund and can
replace the MS router with whatever I'd like.
In short, if your MN-700 is still under warranty, call them
for technical support at 800.936.3900. You will need to
have already registered your product and you will need your
product ID.
Best of luck.
