Hi, I just installed an MN-700 base station and love it
except for having to reset it daily. I've set the maximum
idle time to 0 (the tool wouldn't let me leave it blank as
the manual suggested) and checked the auto-reconnect check
box. Still, when I get home from work, it is not
connected to the Internet and the only way it will
reconnect is if I reset it. The "Connect" button on the
WAN section of the Management Tool's Home page has no
effect.

I probably should have mentioned...

The firmware is 2.0.8.333 and the connection type is
PPPoE. The ISP is Earthlink.

Thanks in advance for any help you can provide.

Hi,

You need to change the Max idle time not to zero but ot
the maxmimum value 999 and click apply. check if that
helps!

I tried that and it did maintain the connection one out of
three times. That is, I set it and the next morning (less
than 999 minutes elapsed) I was still connected. However
that evening (over 999 minutes elapsed) the connection had
been lost and the base station wouldn't reconnect without
being reset. The next morning (less than 999 minutes
elapsed) again the connection was down and the base
station had to be reset.

Here is the log from last night (I'VE ANNOTATED IT WITH
SOME LINES IN ALL CAPS)...
