New MN-700 wireless router with latest firmware performs
time synchronization up to thirty times per hour. Is
anyone else experiencing this? Is there a solution?

Also, it would be nice if Daylight Savings Time could be
handled automatically.

Runtime code version: 02.00.08.0333
Boot code version: 02.00.08.0333
Hardware version: 00.00.00.0004

Howdy,

Well you either have a more complex network or a firewall
blocking the base station from being able to set the time.
You may want to check the Set Time section of the BSMT
management area. Verfiy that a proper time server is
being used and maybe try a different one.

I am beginning to think I may have a flakey unit.

I know it is not a firewall/network issue, as other
internal machines are able to synchronize. The time server
being used was the default, "time.windows.com". Per your
suggestion I changed it to a different server,
nist1.aol-ca.truetime.com (207.200.81.113). I have
verified that this server works. I saw no change in the
system log. Just for kicks I reset the base station,
thinking perhaps it needed to be restarted for the change
to take effect. In "Set Time" it shows the time server
that I set (nist1.aol-ca.truetime.com), however in the log:

2004/06/04 09:36:11 System time synchronized with 204.74.68.55
2004/06/04 09:36:29 System time synchronized with 63.192.96.3
2004/06/04 09:39:29 System time synchronized with 192.43.244.18
2004/06/04 09:40:07 System time synchronized with 164.67.62.194
2004/06/04 09:40:49 System time synchronized with
207.46.130.100

I assume no one else has experiencing this sort of phenomenon?
