The DHCP server on my MN-700 randomly stops assigning IP address to my
clients. I have to assign static IPs (192.168.x.x) to my clients to get
internet access.

I have not made any changes to my Router and this has been happening for
about 3 weeks now. It's very random and I'm not sure what I might be doing
that causes this or if this is something that is a known problem with the
MN-700.

Any info would be helpful.

Thanks,

JayDee

I haven't had problems with my DHCP hosts (i.e. roommates that I can't be
bothered to setup static ips for) ever since the MN700 came out..

What OS' are these computers using?
Have you checked to make sure there are no virii/spyware/crapware that could
be interrupting your network?

Windows XP Pro clients. I don't have any virus' and I keep my computer as
clean as possible running spyware/crapware removal programs. It's weird, it
has worked fine since day one, but for whatever reasons, has randomly
stopped working over the last couple weeks.

Appreciate the help.
