MN-700 causes lock up on restart

Installed the MN-700 base, some initial issues with
firmware and application updates, with ethernet hookup to
an ME computer connects to internet fine at first but if
shutdown computer and restart explorer will not load and
can's access desktop folders. Computer will slow down
incredibly - if I then uninstall router and run computer
straight off cable modem everything is restored. Haven't
tried to tie the other computer in wireless yet with 730
adapter until get the hardwired computer to run decent.
Any similar computer freeze up issues running ME.

I had the exact same issues with XP Home on a wired
system. The startup was painfully slow, the internet
access was inconsistent..even on the main wired PC. I did
all the upgreades to firmware and software...I shut off
all Anit virus and firewalls...still painful.

My solution....RETURN TO STORE...no one at MS had a clue.
The guys in India told me to upgrade the firmware...even
though I told him I already did that.
