Hello I have the mn 700 router and am having problems
with the router recovering when my ISP goes down and then
comes back. The IP address does not recover. It gives me
a 169.... number. I have to manually release and renew
the connection manually. It also takes a while to get
back the actual IP address. This is my second router. I
returned the first one thinking that there was a problem
with it. My friends also have the same problem who have
the mn 700 router. Can someone please help. The firmware
version is 2.08. It is up to date.

What happens if you reset the ISP modem?
