I posted a couple days ago about my MN-700. Will not
reset nor will it restore to factory defaults. It also
has another problem. When connected to my modem only the
modem light lights up, steady green. The power light does
not light amber and then go green. Does or did anybody
else have this problem and how did you fix it. If there
is no fix can somebody please let me know. I may have to
stick with MS for my OS but I'll be damned if I'll stick
with them for hardware that s*cks. Thank you in advanced
for any help.

Hi,

Have you called into Microsoft technical support where they can help
diagnose your issue?

Hey Gary are you in New York? I used to work with someone
named Gary Tsang in Manhatten.

Have you checked your connections. Modem cable in modem port on your
router..

If so, I am afraid your router is defective.

I've checked and rechecked and checked again. It figures.
Just like everything else from Microsoft it breaks. Thanks
for the help. I guess its back to a reliable company like
Linksys.

Mine works extremely well. Wished I could still find
a PCI board of the same make. Just that it was much easier
to configure with provided software.

Well whoopdeefindoo for you. How does that help this guy
out. Sorry for the mean post but its not nice to rub it
in. There's a reason why Microsoft stopped making routers.
They have horrible support and are cheaply made.
