MN-700 Base Station resets back to original settings

Periodically, my base station is resetting back to its
factory settings. (So I revert to a SSID of MSHOME and no
encryption!) I am running the unit off a UPS so the power
supply should not be an issue. I do have a switch which I
use to turn off the power to just the MN-700, so that the
unit is not available for wardriving/hacking, while I am
not using it. Any thoughts? This has been happening
periodically since I first bought the unit. Previously, I
was using the slower speed MN-500 base station and had no
problems with reliability. Same electrical setup. Any
thoughts. Thanks.
