Others have had similar problems, but mine is a little
different, and I'm hoping that the fix is something else
besides port forwarding. So far, MS techs have gotten
nowhere.
I have a Microsoft modem, mn 700 router and also microsoft
wireless adapters. All of my computers are wirelessly
connected perfectly. All have an internet connection.
One of my computers is my work desktop. The problem that I
have on this computer is that when I am VPN connected, my
work outlook won't connect. Others in these threads have
had trouble getting their VPN to connect wireless through
the MN 700. Not my problem, because my VPN connects
through the MN 700....I can even go into START, RUN and
type in a server address and get to my employers servers
and files. But the outlook won't connect through the
router. And it really appears to be a router issue because
if I connect directly to the modem with this computer
(bypassing the router) the outlook connects.
Any help that anyone could give me would be greatly
appreciated. Thanks in advance!
