MN-700/720 drops connection

I'm running a wireless network witn an MN-700 Base station... I have an IBM
Thinkpad with Win98 and an MN-520 adaptor that works flawlessly. I also have
another Thinkpad on the network running Win2000 (SP3) and an MN-720
adaptor... it drops the connection every 5 to 10 minutes.. I've seen in the
Microsoft Knowledgebase where it talks about authentication and I have a
suspicion that might be the issue, but it only refers to XP systems.... where
do I find that for 2000 systems? Or is there some other issue I am not aware
of? Any help would be appreciated...
