MN-520 Wireless Adapter - constant blinking

I've had this adapter for 5 months now and only had it working the first month. It has a mind of its own I think. Bought a new HP laptop with built in adapter and it works fine. Still trying to get the MN-520 to work on my roomates laptop, but not luck. I have all the setting verified: SSID matches, WEP is corret, tried best channels (2, 6, 11), and the lght keeps blinking. I know it should be a solid light since it didn't blink when it worked. Any help would be great.
