Is MN-520 incompatible with Wireless Zero?

I have the MN-520 wireless adapter. On my home network (which uses an MS
wireless base station), everything works fine 100% of the time.

At school, however, weird things have been happening:

Usually, everything will work fine for several seconds. Then it'll
disconnect from the network, reconnect, but then I won't be able to access
the internet. That is, it says that I'm properly connected to the wireless
network, but I can't access any websites.

At this point if I manually disconnect from the network, Wireless Zero
Config will not be able to find the network again until I reboot.

If I look at Wireless Zero while still connected to the network, it says
that I'm connected, but that the network uses a security key, while it
actually does not.

I have just done the following:
1) Uninstall the MS Broadband Utility software. Based on what I've read
other places, I think my network adapter drivers should still be installed.

2) Disable Wireless Zero Config and set up the connection manually.

The laptop has been able to access the web for 10 minutes now, which is
longer than it's worked in more than a week. I'm still not convinced that
it's
fine though.

Question: Is there any reason why the MN-520 adapter would NOT work
correctly with Wireless Zero?

Any other thoughts or ideas?

Thanks in advance!
-rb
