Someone posted that is using the MN-820 wireless kit on
Windows 95, I tried to install the MN520 on an old laptop
running Win95, it detects the card and I'm able to install
the drivers, but it does not work, according to the MN-520
system requirement, only supports Win98 and up, also
another post by Chris from MS said that all the network
devices support Win98 and up.

Is there a way to make the MN-520 card to work on Win95?
If not can anyone recommend a W-NIC for a Win95 laptop

Thanks.

I have a wired 95 on the network with an MS router, and
didn't work right way. You may have the same problem. Try
the following.

1- Does the light on the card blinks?
2- Did the card find the network? You need to have SSID
broadcast turned ON.
3- Can you ping 192.168.2.1 (the router)? If you are not
using an MS router the IP is different (probably
192.168.1.1).
4- Open the broadband network utility and wait for it to
locate the network computers. What it says?
5- Do you have file sharing installed?

So far the MN-520 has power, but the device manager said
that is not working, winipcfg does not show the adapter,
and I'm using a MN-500 WBS, the card works just fine in a
WinXP laptop, I think the problem is on the driver side.
Thanks for the advice anyway.
