Hello,
I recently changed my motherboard on my computer and hence, I reinstalled
windows xp sp1. Before this change, the usb network adapter was working
fine. Now, after the change, after being on for several hours, it would
"disconnect". Both lights on the adapter is solid and not blinking
whatsoever (so it does not seem to be transferring any information). Also,
if I try to open up the Local Area Connection Status, it will hang, not the
computer, just the status. Also, if I go to task manager and try to see the
network information, it will hang there too.
It's not the USB port, as I've tried every port on the machine. I got the
latest firmware. Windows xp is updated (expect for sp2, since my computer
seems to hate sp2).
Any ideas? It doesn't give me any type of error message
