I have a MN-500 linked directly to my computer runningg
XP Pro, and I have a laptop which has been having some
serious problems getting onto the internet. The computer
is able to recognize that there is a signal, but it is
unable to utilize it.

It continuously get the message
"2004/10/01 16:44:45 Connection attempt to base station
from WAN blocked --
src:<64.171.4.236:3580> dst:<24.195.160.180:28053>" in my
Base Station log.

Along with "2004/10/01 16:44:31 Wireless client
associations SUCCESS, MAC:00D059446130"

Is there anything that I can do? The wireless setup was
working perfectly for around a year until afew days ago.
Usually when it acts up i just unplug the Base Station,
or my modem, and it works fine, but now no matter what I
do I can't get it to work.

I can only confirm that I'm having the same problem, except that the
remote PC is using a Microsoft MN-510 USB connector under Win 2000.

I'm able to get my Dell laptop running XP (not a microsoft wireless
solution) to connect and use the internet. I have just spent 2 hours
trying different things, reconfiguring my base station, hard reset,
reconfiguring without WEP, etc.

The MS connection wizard on the PC running win 2K says the WEP key is
invalid, even though I'm certain I've typed it in correctly. I have
the identical symptoms in the Base Station Log (which is how I found
your posting!)
