I set up the MN-500 for a friend last night and am having
a problem with the wireless part of the routing. When I
plug in the laptop to the wired connection, I have no
problems connecting to the internet. As soon as I switch
to the wireless pcmcia card (also an MS product, can't
remember the model number), I can't browse the web. I am
able to ping and connect to Yahoo! Messenger services....
This is unplugged from the wired connection when this is
happening, obviously.
Do I need to change any configs or security settings on
the wireless part of the router? She has a laptop with XP
(I think Home) and she IS running McAfee firewall, but
again, I had no problems with that running on the wired
connection. Any suggestions?
