MN-500 vs MN-720

Why is it that the newer more faster and up-to-date router
seems to be less in price than the older B standard?

MN-720 = about $45. at 54mbs 802.11g
MN-500 = about $100.at 11mbs 802.11b

Am I missing something here?

THe MN-720 isn't a router it is a Wireless NIC that uses a PCMCIA Type 2
or Type 3 slot that is 32-bit. Remember Microsoft is no longer making
any more of these routers so the supply has been limited and is
decreasing, while the demand keeps changing.
