MN-500 stopped working

Was working fine even after upgrading to WinXP-2. Just
stopped working to base computer. Cable modem works fine
when computer is directly connected to it. But nada when
connected to router.

ANY help appreciated. Tried repair of lan and tried plug
and unplug and even tried reset of router. nothing has
worked.
